why

'Mac Eleven'

Andrew MacDonald (Aka. Mac) was Englishman with a heart for Indonesia. In 1xxx he travelled to Bali where he met and fell in love with his wife Tresia and together set up home and roastery business in this beautiful island.

Sadly in November 2016 Mac lost his battle with cancer. However, before he passed away, he shared with his wife, Tresia, and brother & sister-in-law, Toby and Betsy, his passion for coffee and encouraged them to pursue their ambition to set up a green impact, quality produce and fair trade cafe centred on the beautiful coffee blends from Toby's home town in Toraja.

True to his inspiration, Tresia launched the coffee shop with the help of Toby and Betsy in 2017 and with love named it after their departed husband and brother-in-law, Mac, with the addition of 11, to mark the month of November. They also added the roastery element to the cafe to link back to Mac & Tresia's first business together.

Set in the vibrant Kedonganan-Jimbaran, Mac Eleven is now a warm and friendly cafe with delicious coffee and a host of treats, meals and beverages to suit all palettes. At its heart, is the story of its coffee and the passion to positively impact community and the farmers producing the beans.
